Srinagar, June 18, 2025 – The schedule for summer vacation in Jammu and Kashmir schools for the year 2025 will be determined based on prevailing weather conditions, announced Education Minister Sakina Itoo. The decision aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of students amid unpredictable climatic patterns.
Speaking to the press, Minister Itoo emphasized that the Education Department is closely monitoring weather forecasts and will finalize the vacation dates accordingly. “The weather in our region can be quite variable, and we want to ensure that the academic calendar is aligned with conditions that are safe and conducive for students,” she stated.
